From February 2019 we’ll be running a series of workshops for anyone interested in transforming their green space.

From pure inspiration to practical planning sessions, our mix of classes are led by Studio Brio founder Annie Brown to help you create your dream garden.

WORKSHOP ONE: KNOW YOUR SPACE
thursday 7th March

Whether you’re about to hire a garden designer or you’re planning a DIY approach, it’s so crucial to get to know your space intimately before you get creating.

This conceptual and practical workshop reveals the tricks of the trade to help you get in the mindset of a top designer. Expect a hands-on class with marker pens and some critical analysis to find what will work for your space. If you want to learn more about garden design and don’t have a space in mind, it’s no problem, we have an area at the Hub for you to take on as your own creative design project!

We will be giving you reflective tasks to deepen your connection to the space you are designing. We’ll also explore handy tips and practical problem solving issues that you need to do before you start designing, planting and more importantly… spending.

Ticket cost:

£35

Date:

Thursday 7th March

7-9pm

Venue:

The Brewery Yard Club, Rye

TN31 7LH

As with all our workshops please bring with you some rough measurements and a few photos of the space you wish to develop as it will be hands on and we’ll be offering one-on-one consultation during the sessions.

You will receive a Studio Brio workbook to set out your plan. If you would like guidance on taking key measurements of your garden please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

If you want to learn more about the journey of designing a garden and don’t have a space in mind, it’s no problem, we have an area at the Hub for you to take on as your own creative design project! Please let us know in advance so we can supply all the information you will need.
